Skin by Thea is a luxury facial studio near Hook, Hampshire, created for those seeking calmer, healthier, more radiant skin, and a quiet, restorative space to pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves.

My treatments combine advanced skin knowledge with slow, intentional touch. Through facial massage, gua sha, facial cupping, SkinPen microneedling, AlumierMD facials and chemical peels, and personalised skin plans, I work with the skin as part of the whole person, not as something to be corrected in isolation.

I always prioritise the long-term wellbeing of your skin over short-term trends or quick fixes. My aim is to help skin age with intention, restoring its natural rhythm through evidence-based treatments and restorative rituals.

My path to becoming a facialist was shaped by both personal and professional change. After years in a fast-paced corporate role in London, I moved to Hampshire with my family to create a slower, more intentional way of life. My own experience of surgical menopause in my late 30s deepened my understanding of how hormonal shifts, stress, sleep, lifestyle and overall health can influence the skin.

It was during this time that my passion for skin health evolved into a vocation, rooted in science but always focused on the person behind the skin.

For me, great skin is never just about how it looks. It is about how it behaves, how it feels, and how supported you feel within it. Facial tension, stress and nervous system load can all show up in the face, which is why my treatments are designed not only to support the skin, but also to create space for your nervous system to settle.

Every treatment is calm, private and unhurried. I love offering my clients time that is entirely theirs: a chance to reset, breathe, soften and reclaim a sense of balance. I genuinely believe a facial can be more than a treatment; it can give you back a little of yourself.

In my previous life, I was the editor of a series of luxury magazines and websites. I have combined my two worlds to create a wellness newsletter: a considered space for skin health, facial rituals, nervous system support, seasonal advice and the occasional offer from the studio.
